Hotel Sarazena - Zermatt

Had a great stay! The location is super convenient near the train station and Gornergratbahn. Breakfast had a nice variety. My room had a fantastic view of the Matterhorn. Just wish the bed was a bit firmer. A lovely experience!

The breakfast was good on the rate, enjoyed it. The staff was welcoming and courteous when needed. The accommodation had a central location to the bus stop going to the ski stations. There was Harry's Ski Bar, located nearby, where we relaxed.

Cozy vibes with Matterhorn views

The warm welcome from the staff. My room was cozy with a lovely balcony showcasing the Matterhorn, perfect for sipping coffee. The breakfast spread was good, with local hams and cheeses. Plus, the hotel's location was prime, just a quick walk from the train station.

My room was spotless and well renovated with balconies, potential view, it accommodated me perfectly.

The room was a nice size with a safe, multi-channel television and a mini bar fridge.

overall real good stay on vacation. spotless place with beautiful views and comfortable location in beautiful zermatt 2 minutes from gonergrat ride up the hill. good sized room, comfortable bed and neat bathroom. location so close to the railway station in zermatt and ski lifts and shopping. reasonably priced food in the restaurants such as berghof, located 5 min away.

The hotel's location is fantastic, just a short walk from the Gornergrat Railway Station, made getting around really easy. Our room featured a wonderful Matterhorn view, and the balcony was perfect for enjoying evenings. The beds were comfortable. I appreciated the cozy atmosphere throughout the hotel, especially the lounge area with its inviting decor. Breakfast included some homemade items, though the options felt a bit limited for variety. One thing to note, during checkout, an issue arose regarding taking breakfast items to go. The staff did resolve it without too much fuss. The little things made this place nice.

It was just a reliable pick for a short weekend trip in Zermatt with decent value for money. The room was spacious and had a nice little balcony area to relax after a long day. Pro tip, trains don't run too early or too late, so you won't be disturbed at night.

Newly refurbished, comfortable, clean, and good sized rooms. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of delicious Swiss breads, yogurt, cheeses, meats, and coffee. The location was excellent, right opposite the main Zermatt train station and beside the Gornergrat train.

The proximity to the train did mean some train noise.

Perfect Location and Cozy Accommodations

I loved how conveniently located the hotel is, just a couple of minutes from the train station. The room was not only clean and spacious but also came with a lovely balcony where I enjoyed some sun with a glass of wine in the afternoon. Breakfast had ample options to satisfy various tastes, and the staff was quick to help whenever I had questions about the area. My only wish is that the heater in the room had worked consistently throughout my stay.

Communication barriers with staff could use improvement!!! Noise from communal areas impacts tranquility!!! Limited parking may annoy some guests!!! Clarification on sauna usage is needed!!!

The hotel is nice, and has wi-fi, a tv, and luggage storage. The staff once helped me find my lost barrette, which I remember fondly. I recommend trying their sauna, and I'm coming back for a city trip.

The location made it super easy for us to explore, and Selena, the staff member, was helpful, even assisting us with our luggage. This made traveling with our little baby much smoother!

My wife says that the breakfast options could be better for kids.

The location was a game changer. Just a 2-minute walk to the cogwheel train. The view of the Matterhorn from my room was epic! And a fridge and kettle was super handy for late-night snacks. My unexpected room issue was fixed in a flash by the lovely couple running the hotel.
